<p>The motor (250) has a device (215) for current feeding for stator winding arrangements (212, 214) attached to a stator (210). A sensor (230) e.g. optical sensor, produces electrical patterns of a preset segment (205) of complete mechanical rotation of a rotor (220). An evaluation unit (240) compares one of the electrical patterns with the other electrical pattern to determine information about an actual operating condition of the motor. A determination is made to check whether operating condition of the motor corresponds to selected operating condition on the basis of determined information. An independent claim is also included for a method for determination of rotational direction of an electronically commutated motor.</p> |
