An endless belt-like member (11) is supported circulably by a driving roller (13), which is intermittently driven by an air cylinder (17), and guide rollers (21;22;23). The traveling belt-like member is wetted with a cleaning liquid (25) sprayed by a spray nozzle (20). The belt-like member containing the cleaning liquid is contacted with the peripheral surface of a rotating blanket cylinder (10) by a pressing member (19). Thus, dirt on the peripheral surface of the blanket cylinder is removed.
