<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of facilitating management of an execution timing applied to expansion processing in animation reproduction control for mixing IP compressed animation data and IPB compressed animation data so as to use the intermingled data for directing. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of reproducing and displaying a movie image on the basis of IPB movie data, a CPU applies expansion instruction to a GCL twice for a first frame period (F1). The GCL expands a picture I1 in response to the first expansion instruction and expands a picture P1 in response to the second expansion instruction for the first frame period (F1). Thereafter the CPU repetitively outputs a display instruction and an expansion instruction by each of frame periods (F2 to F11), and the GCL outputs a video signal in response to the display instruction from the CPU and develops and expands pictures in response to the expansion instruction from the CPU. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
