<p>Methods and compositions are provided for the treatment of a subject suffering from dysmenorrhea, including both primary and second dysmenorrhea. Aspects of the invention include transdermally administering to the subject an effective amount of a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent. Also provided are transdermal NSAID formulations and kits including the same that find use in practicing the subject methods.</p> |
