Faults injection detector in an integrated circuit

The circuit has a logic block (202) for performing a logic function of an integrated circuit. An isolation block (204) receives a signal (208) to be processed. A detection block (214) monitors a state of an output signal of the logic block, during a detection phase, where the block generates an alert signal in case of change of the state of the output signal. A bypass circuit couples an output of flip-flop to an input of the logic block, during functional phase. An independent claim is also included for a method of detecting a fault attack in an integrated circuit.
