SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING PACKET BASED WIRELESS PERSONAL AREA NETWORK

PURPOSE: A system for transmitting a packet based on a wireless local area network is provided to load an IP packet to a small payload of IEEE 802.15.4 MAC/PHY packet. CONSTITUTION: A packet transmitting unit(100) compresses one or more preset compression target fields within a transmission target IP packet header in a set bit number. The packet transfer apparatus creates a converting packet supporting a local wireless network. According to the destination address of the compression object field, the packet transfer apparatus transmits the generated converting packet. A packet receiving unit(200) restores the compression object field through an analysis of the conversion packet header.
