PURPOSE: A method for connecting an internet using a communication modem is provided to store temporary files for connecting specific sites to a memory. CONSTITUTION: If a connection command for connecting a predetermined site is inputted, a control unit/modem(100) extracts temporary files of the sites from a memory(110,120). The control unit/modem outputs the temporary files to the terminal. The control unit/modem downloads the temporary file from the connected site. The control unit/modem extracts an updated temporary file. The control unit/modem renews the extracted updated temporary file, and stores the renewed file to the memory.
