METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING VOIP SERVICE USING LOCATION INFORMATION OF CALLER-TERMINAL BASED ON SESSION INITIATION PROTOCOL

PURPOSE: A system for providing VOIP service using location information of caller-terminal based on session initiation protocol and a method thereof are provided to offer a call originating location information to the call receiver. CONSTITUTION: An IP address and port information of a call originating terminal(10) are inserted into a SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) protocol. An application call control server(100) extracts IP address and port information of the call originating terminal from the SIP protocol signal. The application call control server grasps the location of the IP address from a location information server(200). Therefore, the location information of the call originating terminal can be delivered to the call receiving terminal(20).
