摘要 PURPOSE: A cryogenic cutting system for decommissioning nuclear facilities is provided to facilitate the cutting of radioactive waste by maintaining high pressure liquid nitrogen at a very low temperature. CONSTITUTION: A cryogenic cutting system for decommissioning nuclear facilities comprises a storage tank(120), a pressure intensifying cylinder(130), a first transfer pipe, a second transfer pipe(150), a damper(140), a mixing chamber(160), and a cutting table(180). The storage tank stores the cryogenic liquid nitrogen. The pressure intensifying cylinder pressurizes liquid nitrogen and forms high-pressure cryogenic liquid nitrogen. The first and second transfer pipes transfer the liquid nitrogen with maintaining the temperature of the high-pressure cryogenic liquid nitrogen. The damper supplies refrigerant to maintain the temperature and maintains the uniform pressure of the high-pressure cryogenic liquid nitrogen. The mixing chamber mixes abrasives with the high-pressure cryogenic liquid nitrogen to form mixture. The mixing chamber sprays mixture. The cutting table cuts target with the sprayed mixture.
