PURPOSE: A lock setting release system of a terminal for protecting the privacy of a user is provided to release the lock setting of the terminal in comparison with signature sensing information and the pre-stored signature gesture of the terminal. CONSTITUTION: A call controller(40) receives signature sensing information about sensing the motion of a terminal(10). A lock setting release server(50) receives the signature sensing information from the call controller. The lock setting release server transmits a lock setting release signal to the terminal through the call controller in case the received signature sensing information matches with the pre-stored signature gesture.
