ARRAY SUBSTRATE AND METHOD OF FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An array substrate and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent the formation of a thermal oxidation layer on an active layer. CONSTITUTION: A gate wiring(145) contacts a gate electrode through a gate contact hole at the boundary area of a pixel region over a first passivation layer. The gate wiring crosses a data wiring. A second protection layer(150) has a drain contact hole which exposes a drain electrode over the gate wiring. A pixel electrode(170) contacts the drain electrode through the drain contact hole over the second protection layer. The pixel electrode is formed at the pixel region.
