The bearing module (2) has bearing components (4, 5) that are movably supported relative to each other by a set of roller bodies (13). A protection unit (6) made of a material i.e. active metal, with an oligodynamic effect is fastened to each bearing component. A cage (18) accommodates the roller bodies. A track is provided at one of two bearing rings (8, 10). A corrosion protection is provided laterally on the track. The corrosion protection comprises a passive corrosion coating i.e. polymer lacquer layer. |
