PURPOSE: A producing method of activated charcoal using sewage sludge is provided to economically produce the high quality activated charcoal by using a low price carbon source. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of activated charcoal using sewage sludge comprises the following steps: dissolving KOH or NaOH to distilled water, and inserting sewage sludge carbide for mixing for 1~4hours and drying; inserting the obtained carbide into a reactor, and injecting nitrogen gas into the reactor; increasing the temperature by 1~10deg C per minute, and maintaining at 600~800deg C for 40~80minutes; and removing the KOH or NaOH from the carbide by washing with acid, and washing with the distilled water to remove the acid before drying. |
