PURPOSE: A lightweight magnesium Korean style roof tile and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs and times by increment in elasticity and strength. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of lightweight magnesium Korean style roof tiles comprises following steps. Magnesium, magnesium chloride, vegetable fiber, yellow soil, firming agent, perlite are put and stirred. The intermediate product is put into the mold. The molded material is heat-treated at 40~60°C for 12 hours. Protrusions/depressions to be assembled and a connection metal part are formed. A heat-insulating panel(2), attached with thermal reflection papers on the rear side thereof, is formed in a space.
