The device has a counter tool (7) and a sealing tool (1) comprising sealing surfaces (2, 3, 6) formed at different tool parts (5, 15), where material of one of the tool part e.g. profile, carrying one of the sealing surfaces is lighter than material of the other tool part carrying other sealing surfaces and is elastically deformable. The former sealing part is formed as a profile accommodated in a groove (4) of the latter tool part, and the seal surfaces are equipped with ribs. The counter tool and the sealing tool are formed as rollers and rotatable around an axis. An independent claim is also included for a method for sealing plastic films. |
