PURPOSE: A cylinder deactivation apparatus is provided to reduce the size of a CDA since a first lock lever is located between second lock levers. CONSTITUTION: A cylinder deactivation apparatus comprises a driving shaft(10), an input cam(20), a lock shaft(30), a first lock lever(40), a second lock lever(50), a coupling unit, an output cam(60) and a valve control unit(70). The input cam is installed on the driving shaft. The lock shaft is installed in parallel to the driving shaft. The first lock lever is rotatably installed on the lock shaft and receives the rotation of the input cam. The second lock lever is rotatably installed on the lock shaft. The coupling unit is selectively connected to the first and second lock levers. The output cam is rotatably installed on the driving shaft and is connected to the second lock lever. The valve control unit is controlled by the output cam. |
