REAL-TIME MOVING OBJECT DETECTION FOR INTELLIGENT VISUAL SURVEILLANCE

摘要

PURPOSE: A real-time moving object detection method is provided to stably detect a moving object using a foreground pixel propagation method. CONSTITUTION: A connecting component labeling process performs a scanning image task based on image pixels and the connection of the pixels and partitions blobs. The blobs are composed of a connected pixel assembly. A connection element from a foreground mask image is assembled from foreground pixels which have connected surroundings. Each pixel is allocated to a label of a belonged connecting component.
