PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for replacing a neutral line are provided to prevent a device from being damaged due to an overvoltage by replacing the neutral line in a three-phase four-line distribution system. CONSTITUTION: A disconnection detector(210) detects the disconnection of a neutral line. A controller(220) determines the disconnection based on a disconnection detection value and generates a control signal to replace the neutral line in a disconnection state. The controller generates a control signal to operate a main circuit breaker. A neutral line protector(230) maintains the phase voltage balance by replacing the neutral line formed in a power supply device.
