PURPOSE: A safety apparatus for cutting off power of a vehicle is provided to protect passengers and rescuers by cutting off power and eliminating arc discharge in the event of a crash over the reference impact. CONSTITUTION: A safety apparatus for cutting off power of a vehicle comprises a housing(102), a power supply unit(104), and a power cut-off unit. The housing is installed in a side of a vehicle. The power supply unit is installed inside the housing and selectively supplies driving power from a battery. The power cut-off unit is installed in an inner side of the housing and connected to a side of the power supply unit in order to sense an impact of crash and selectively cut off the drive power of the power supply unit when the sensed impact is over the reference impact.
