A conduit (400) for use with a PAP device delivering pressurized breathable gas (408) is disclosed. The conduit includes a flexible conduit wall (402). The conduit wall (402) includes a front wall portion and a rear wall portion opposite the front wall portion. The rear wall portion faces a patient in use. The front wall portion and the rear wall portion comprise fabric material. The conduit wall (402) has an inlet and an outlet, the inlet is adapted to be attached to the supply of gas. The conduit wall (402) deforms between an open condition, and a collapsed condition. In the open condition, the conduit wall (402) inflates and defines a conduit passage (410) along which the gas can travel between the inlet (404) to the outlet (406). In the collapsed condition, the conduit wall (402) substantially collapses the conduit passage (410) in the absence of pressurized gas.
