FIELD: medical devices, in particular, treatment decease of nervous, cardiovascular, muscular, maxillary systems and skin. SUBSTANCE: device has low-frequency stepping-up transformer, and gas-discharge glass electrode which is connected to secondary winding of transformer. Secondary power supply is designed as two capacitors, which are connected in series to primary winding of transformer through control gate. Starting circuit is designed as threshold unit which is based on transistor operating in avalanche mode. Device operations are based on periodic flush of power from serial circuit of capacitors which are supplied by alternating current mains 220 V, 50 Hz. Capacitors serve secondary electric power supply. Oscillatory circuit which consists of serial circuit of two capacitors, primary winding of transformer and open control gate, runs free attenuating oscillations. Characteristic frequency of oscillations depends on characteristics of this circuit. High voltage which is equal to 3-25 kV is induced on secondary winding of transformer and initiates glowing discharge in gas-discharge glass electrode which provides therapeutic treatment.
