EFFECT OF IMPELLER TURBINE TYPE IN A BIOREACTOR ON MASS PRODUCTION OF HETEROPOLYSACCHARIDE-7(PS-7)

PURPOSE: A method for producing polymer heteropolysacchride-7(PS-7) using an impeller is provided to improve the productivity of PS-7. CONSTITUTION: A polymer heteropolysaccharide-7 is prepared by stirring with an impeller of wing turbine type in case of culturing in a fermentation tank. A method for preparing PS-7 comprises: a step of culturing Beijerinckia indica in a medium containing 0.5% of dipotassium phosphate(K_2HPO_4), 0.01% of magnesium sulfate(MgSO_47H_2O), 0.09% of ammonium nitrate(NH_4NO_3), 0.05% of bacto peptone and 2% of glucose; and culturing with 3% of sucrose at 500rpm and 1vvm for 96 hours.
