PURPOSE: A light emitting device, a print head and an image forming apparatus are provided to restrict the number of wiring for lighting signals by sharing a lighting signal to a plurality of light emitting devices. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting device comprises a light emitting device array, a memory device array, and a switch device array. The light emitting device array comprises a plurality of light emitting devices which are arranged in rows and connected to a lighting signal line supplying current for lighting. The memory device array comprises a plurality of memory devices which are installed corresponding to the respective light emitting devices and connected through a resistance to a memory signal line supplying a signal for indicating the light emitting device to be turned on. The switch device array comprises a plurality of switch devices which are installed corresponding to be electrically connected to the respective memory devices. |
