The controller has an opening control unit i.e. handle (1), co-operating with a control mechanism that controls opening and closing of a lock (3) of an opening frame (9). The control mechanism is constituted of a lever (4) and a cable (6). A pushbutton (10) is actuated by a user, and is movable between a locked position in which the pushbutton locks the control unit on a fixed part (11) with respect to the opening frame, and an unlocked position in which the pushbutton unlocks the control unit from the fixed part.
