<p>The invention relates to an automated system for handling, sorting and expedition of parcels, to be used in express courier activity. According to the invention, the system consists of two subsystems (1 and 2), namely an external and an internal subsystem for sorting and expedition of standard parcels and envelopes packaged in bags, arranged concentrically, each of them having inlet and outlet flows, respectively, as well as some scanners (3, 4, 5 and 23) identifying the items passing in front of them, according to the information contained in the bar codes of some labels, and which control the direction of motion of said items and some expeditions transport and directing systems (13 and 16).</p> |
