Disclosed is a compound of the pictured formula, or a salt thereof, where R2 and R3 are either separate substituents or may join together to form a fused ring, n is 0-3, D is a 5-6 membered saturated, nitrogen containing ring, E is phenylene or mono-substituted pyridiyl, and where the rest of the substituents are as defined in the specification. Also disclosed is the use of the compound for treating prostate cancer, benign prostatic hyperplasia, acne, seborrhea, hirsutism, androgenic alopecia, male baldness, polycystic ovarian syndrome, precocious puberty, hyperandrogenic syndromes, diseases related to loss of androgenic stimulation selected from muscle atrophy and weakness, skin atrophy, bone loss, anemia, atherosclerosis, cardiovascular disease, loss of energy, loss of well being, type 2 diabetes or abdominal fat accumulation.
