<p>The method involves determining a position of a starting point (P) of one of contours (12-15) of first, second, third and fourth articular segments i.e. forearm (2), arm (3), tibia (4) and thigh (5), of a subject (1), in a two-dimensional image (8) of the subject. Length of the first and second articular segments or the third and fourth articular segments and position of one of articulation joints i.e. elbow (A1) and knee (A2), in a reference frame of the two-dimensional image are determined from the position of the starting point. An independent claim is also included for a system for contactless determination of morphological data of a subject, comprising a two-dimensional image capturing unit.</p> |
