PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording apparatus which suppresses defective ejection caused by drying during recording in the ink jet recording apparatus, and to provide an ink jet recording method.SOLUTION: Solvent components are evaporated by heating a recorded recording medium. The evaporated solvent components are collected from a steam collecting opening 5 to a condenser 6. The humidity of steam is lowered to a saturation state, thereby liquefying the remaining solvent steam. The gas having the humidity lowered to the saturation state is sent to the periphery of an ejection opening of a recording head 1. |
