PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus capable of recognizing the displacement of a subject.SOLUTION: The X-ray diagnostic apparatus includes: an X-ray irradiation part 10 for irradiating the subject P with X rays for the X-ray photography or fluoroscopy; an X-ray detecting part 14 for detecting X rays transmitting the subject P; a positioning means for positioning the X-ray irradiation part 10 and the x-ray detecting part 14 relatively to the subject P; an image data generating part 40 for generating image data based on the X-ray projection data from the X-ray detecting part 14; a road-map image data generating part 52 for generating road-map image data indicating the position of a device inserted into the subject P; and a position image data generating part 53 for generating position image data indicating the displacement of the subject P relative to the X-ray irradiation part 10 and the X-ray detecting part 14. The position image data are generated based on fluoroscopic image data generated by the image data generating part 40 and information on a fluoroscopic position determined to generate the fluoroscopic image data.
