PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing polymer toner which has little remaining volatile component, prevents coalescence of particles and is excellent in electrophotographic characteristics.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing toner particle includes: a granulation process of granulating a polymerizable monomer composition containing at least polymerizable monomer and colorant in a dispersing medium to obtain a fine particulate polymerizable monomer composition; a polymerization process of polymerizing the fine particulate polymerizable monomer composition to obtain a polymer dispersion liquid; and a vaporization process of removing an organic volatile component from the polymer dispersion liquid. The vaporization process has a supersonic generator 14, the supersonic generator has a vibrator 15 for irradiating supersonic waves having a cylindrical structure which has a plurality of concentric protrusions in the circular direction. |
