PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight, inexpensive and wide-band antenna apparatus in which a diameter is equivalently enlarged without enlarging a diameter of a metal rotary shaft, that constitutes a shaft of a hinge part in a mobile radio terminal, in a configuration for operating the metal rotary shaft as an antenna, and to provide the mobile radio terminal on which the antenna apparatus is mounted.SOLUTION: The mobile radio terminal 100 has a first case 1003, a second case 1004 and a hinge part 1001 rotatably connecting the first case 1003 and the second case 1004. The mobile radio terminal includes: a metal rotary shaft 1002 constituting a rotation center 102 of the hinge part 1001; a power feeding part for feeding power to the metal rotary shaft 1002; and an approximately cylindrical ring conductor 101 which is approximately same as the rotational center 102 of the metal rotary shaft 1002 and has a diameter larger than that of the metal rotary shaft 1002. The ring conductor 101 is brought into contact with or capacitively coupled with the metal rotary shaft 1002. Thud, a lightweight, cost-reduced and wide-band antenna having a high degree of freedom in design can be accomplished. |
