PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein, in a receiver using an active filter, the filter must be always operated at a level of suppression obtained by assuming the worst reception condition, and power consumption is not restrained even in an excellent reception condition.SOLUTION: This receiver includes: at least two filter circuits; two signal intensity detection circuits arranged at the front stage and the rear stage of the filters; and a comparator for comparing signal intensity values detected by the two signal intensity detection circuits with each other; wherein the first and second filter circuits are each allowed to be changed over to a non-operation state by control from the comparator to reduce consumption current. |
