METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SETTING SINGLE BOARD PARAMETERS IN ADVANCED TELECOM COMPUTING ARCHITECTURE

A method and a system for setting single board parameters in advanced telecom computing architecture are disclosed. The method comprises following steps: a Shelf Management Controller (ShMC) restarts after initialization, obtains configuration information of all the single boards in the shelf, and then electrifies the single boards in the shelf; when an Intelligent Platform Management Controller (IPMC) of a single board is electrifying a payload portion (Payload), the Payload acquires the configuration information needed by the single board for running from the IPMC; the IPMC forwards the order for acquiring the configuration information needed by the single board for running to the ShMC; after receiving the order for acquiring the configuration information needed by the single board for running, the ShMC sends the configuration information of the present single board to the IPMC as an order response; the Payload acquires the configuration information of the present single board from the IPMC, and then turns into a normal running state. By using the method and the system, centralized and unified control of the working parameters could be implemented, and workload of both equipment environment establishment and consequent project maintenance may be reduced.
