PURPOSE: An insulation apparatus for an asphalt mixture is provided to improve the reliability of asphalt application by maintaining the optimum temperature of an asphalt mixture. CONSTITUTION: An insulation apparatus for an asphalt mixture comprises a main body(20), a heat transfer oil chamber(26), a screw(40), a stirring impeller(50), an insulation chamber(30), and a heating device. The main body comprises a space in which an asphalt mixture(1) is placed and a discharge part(22). The heat transfer oil chamber is formed between the exterior and interior surfaces of the main body so as to cover the entire periphery of the main body and filled with heat transfer oil(2). The screw is installed in the discharge part of the main body and transfers the asphalt mixture to a discharge port(22a). The stirring impeller stirs the asphalt mixture in order to evenly transfer the indirect heat from the heat transfer oil to the asphalt mixture. The insulation chamber is installed to cover the periphery of the main body in order to maintain the optimum temperature of the asphalt mixture. The heating device is installed inside the insulation chamber in order to heat the heat transfer oil filled in the heat transfer oil chamber. |
