摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device which enhances follow-up ability (drivability) to the operation of a driver, and enhances the fuel economy.SOLUTION: The power transmission device 1 includes an internal combustion engine ENG, a motor MG, a planetary gear mechanism PG, and an output member 4. Three elements of the planetary gear mechanism PG are defined as a first element Sa, a second element Ca, and a third element Ra in the alignment sequence at the spacing corresponding to the gear ratio in the velocity diagram. The power transmission device 1 includes a first transmission mechanism C1 for releasably transmitting the driving force of the internal combustion engine ENG to the first element Sa, a second transmission mechanism C2 for releasably transmitting the driving force of the internal combustion engine ENG to the second element Ca, a first mechanism S1 for releasably connecting the output member 4 to the first element Sa, and a second connection mechanism S2 for releasably connecting the output member 4 to the second element Ca. A rotor MGb of the motor MG is connected to the third element Ra.
