PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus for vehicles mounting large-capacity rechargeable batteries that restrains losses of AC/DC conversion sections and is able to efficiently and simultaneously charge a plurality of vehicles.SOLUTION: The charging apparatus includes switches 8A1-8A7, 8B1-8B7, 8C1-8C7. The switches change to a state, where an optional battery pack fully charged is separated from a multiple-series connection, in a state where respective battery packs 21-27 of a plurality of vehicles 11-17 mounting large-capacity rechargeable batteries are under the multiple-series connection to charge power from an AC/DC conversion section. |
