PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for coating with adhesive, in which the highly accurate and reliable adjustment of the position of a doctor is possible with a simple structure.SOLUTION: In the device for coating with adhesive 3, the back 2a of a bookblock 2, which includes gathered signatures and/or separate sheets of paper and is guided to pass through the interior of a conveying device 11, under the condition that the device including an adhesive container 4, at least one coating roller 5, 5.1 or 5.2, which is held in an adhesive container 4 and rolls under the state that the peripheral part of which contacts with the bookblocks 2, and a doctor 7, which defines the thickness of an adhesive layer transferred to the bookblock 2 through the adjustment of the adjustable spacing s between the coating roller 5, 5.1 or 5.2, the doctor 7 is arranged or formed in the connector 24 or 64 of a connecting mechanism or of a guiding mechanism 20 or 60 consisting of at least four members and further has the connecting bars 22 and 23 of the connecting mechanism 20 constituted as the bent rods 22 and 23, both end parts of which are fixedly clamped. |
