PURPOSE: An apparatus for expelling harmful insects is provided, which can easily expel harmful insects without using chemical products harmful to the human body. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for expelling harmful insects comprises: a rotational plate(110) rotating around a predetermined rotary shaft; a string connecting member(120) which rotates by rotation of the rotational plate; a string(130) which is connected to the front end of the string connecting member and expels insects by rotation of the string connecting member; a protection cap(140) which surrounds the front end of the string connecting member and includes elastic material; a drive member(150) offering rotation driving power to the rotational plate; a variable hanging member(160); and a switch(170) which supplies/cuts off power to/from the drive member.
