SLOTTER, METHOD FOR CUTTING SLOTTER, SLOTTER KNIFE, AND CUTTER BASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion failure of a joint margin and intrusion of flap scrap into a cardboard sheet by forming a non-cut part between slotter scrap and flap scrap, for an optional form of the joint margin without fail to prevent scattering of the flap scrap, when forming the joint margin of the cardboard sheet by a slotter of a box manufacturing machine.SOLUTION: An upper slotter knife 10 is formed so as to be divided into a slotter knife body 12 and a division body 14, and the relative position between the division body 14 and a slide body 26 embedded with a flap cutter knife 30 is determined and fixed so that a gap L between a notch 18 formed on a part of a cutting blade 15 of the division body 14 and a blade edge of the flap cutter knife 30 is made minimum. Thereby, even if the sizes or shapes of the cardboard sheet 1 or the joint margin 5 are different, due to the presence of the notch 18, an uncut portion 9 can be inevitably formed between the slotter scrap 7 and the flap scrap 8. Formation of the uncut portion 9 allows removal of the flap scrap 8 together with the slotter scrap 7, thus preventing scattering of the flap scrap 8 and adhesion failure of the joint margins.
