PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an electrostatic precipitator collecting dust in air further thin.SOLUTION: Among alternately disposed high tension electrodes 1 and dust collection electrodes 2, a part of or all of the high tension electrodes 1 are composed as shared discharge electrodes 3 serving also as discharge electrodes, and a part of or all of the collection electrodes 2 are composed as shared counter electrodes 4 serving also as counter electrodes. This configuration forms a structure of a charging part close to a dust collection part. Since the high tension electrodes 1, dust collection electrodes 2 and shared counter electrodes 4 are made of semi-conductive material, current flowing between respective electrodes is suppressed, causing little spark even in a structure of the electrodes close to each other. Thereby the further thinned electrostatic precipitator is provided. |
