Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a solar battery cell. This method comprises a first step of forming an insulating film on one side of a semiconductor substrate, a second step of forming an electrode forming groove in an electrode forming region in the insulating film, a third step of applying an electrode printing paste containing metal particles as a main component so as to cover the electrode forming groove and regions in the insulating film between which the electrode forming groove is located, thereby printing the electrode printing paste to a larger width than the width of the electrode forming groove and drying the paste, and a fourth step of firing the electrode paste at a temperature at or above the melting point or at or above the eutectic temperature of the metal particles to coagulate and solidify the electrode paste on the electrode forming groove and thus to form an electrode having a width equal to the width of the electrode forming groove. |
