Provided is a lever-type connector assembly comprising: a first connector which has a first terminal provided on the inside and has rotational shafts formed projecting on both side surfaces; a second connector which is formed with an inside space where the first connector is internally provided so as to couple with the first connector, and which has a second terminal provided on the inside, has coupling projections formed on both side surfaces and has a latching hook formed projecting on a side part; a lever which is rotatably provided on the rotational shafts, is formed with a coupling slit for inserting and guiding the coupling projections on both side surfaces, and is formed with a fastening lock ring hook for latching onto the latching hook on one side surface; and a securing member which is provided on the lever such that the lever latches onto and couples with the second connector when the fastening lock ring hook has been latched onto the latching hook, and which secures the fastening lock ring hook such that it does not become unlatched from the latching hook. In this lever-type connector assembly, once the lever which is rotatably provided on the first connector has been securely latched onto the second connector so as to pull the second connector in the direction of the first connector, the securing member ensures that the lever is securely latched onto the second connector. Consequently, the lever does not become detached from its state of latching onto the second connector due to arbitrary force, and the state of coupling between the first and second connectors is maintained in a stable fashion.
