The connection has a latching mechanism for connecting an implant or workpiece with an instrument for insertion of the implant or workpiece in a body. A male instrument is connected with a female part of the workpiece and/or implant. A female circular opening (7) of the connection is larger than a semi-circle, so that a male counter part of the insertion instrument consists of a spreader roll and a fixed connection between a female counter part and the male counter part. The spreader roll is pressed in the female opening.
