PURPOSE: An electric knife polishing device and a method thereof are provided to prevent a cut surface of a workpiece from bending during polishing by maintaining a flat surface of main grindstone. CONSTITUTION: An electric knife polishing device comprises a plane holding unit(10), a shield plate(30), a preliminary grinding tool(40), main grindstone(20), finishing grindstone(50), and a controller(60). The plane holding unit contacts the surface of the main grindstone and keeps the surface of the main grindstone flat. The shield plate is attached to the outer periphery of the main grindstone in order to prevent the flying of scraps. The preliminary grinding tool grinds a workpiece with a hand grinder. The main grindstone grinds the preliminarily ground workpiece. The finishing grindstone is rotated by a motor(3) in order to finish the ground workpiece. The controller increases or reduces the rotating speed and direction of the main and finishing grindstone. |
