PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting fixture capable of switching between a light distribution pattern for a high beam and a light distribution pattern for daytime running.SOLUTION: The vehicular lighting fixture capable of switching between the light distribution pattern for the high beam and the light distribution pattern for the daytime running includes: a projector lens constituted so as to satisfy the light distribution pattern specification for the high beam when transmitting irradiation light from a semiconductor light source; a switch to switch the high beam and the daytime running; and a semiconductor light source driving means of moving the semiconductor light source either to a first position in the vicinity of the focus of the projector lens or to a second position closer to the projector lens. When the switch is in the high beam, the semiconductor light source is moved to the first position, and when the switch is in the daytime running, it is moved to the second position. As for a brightness adjusting means, brightness for the daytime running is adjusted by the light distribution pattern formed by transmitted light which is irradiated from the semiconductor light source moved to the second position and transmitted through the projector lens. |
