PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device hardly causing the change of attitude of an imaging element with respect to a frame of a lens unit, and having high imaging accuracy.SOLUTION: This imaging device includes a lens unit composed by attaching a lens to a frame 11, and an imaging element 2 into which a light ray that has passed through the lens should enter, wherein a plate member 3 with an aperture 31 for housing the imaging element 2 therein is fixed to the frame 11 of the lens unit, and the imaging element 2 is stuck and fixed to the plate member 3. On a lens-side surface 35 of the plate member 3, elevated parts 32 which extend along edges of the aperture 31 are formed at least at partial parts of an area surrounding the aperture 31, and an adhesive 7 is filled between the elevated parts 32 and the imaging element 2 to fix the imaging element 2 to the plate member 3. In this case, the elevated part 32 of the plate member 3 is formed by flexurally deforming a part of the plate member 3 into a cross-sectionally reversed U-shaped form. |
