PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a studless tire and a high-performance studless tire produced therefrom, which achieve both good braking force and handling stability on ice and snow.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a studless tire includes: a rubber component, a zinc salt of a 4-12C aliphatic carboxylic acid, or a 4-12C aliphatic carboxylic acid and zinc oxide, and an oil or a plasticizer. The rubber composition contains 40 mass% or more of a butadiene rubber per 100 mass% of the rubber component. |
