PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective hat having an accident-preventing face which can shield the whole face of a wearer and can be stored in the protective hat.SOLUTION: The accident-preventing face includes the first shield member 4 and the shield member 5. A storing guide member 3 is attached to the inside front portion of the hat body 2. The first shield member 4 is engaged with storing guide holes 13 formed in the storing guide member 3 through engaging members 14. The first shield member 4 and the second shield member 5 are connected to engaging members (a slider 17a and holders 18b, 18c) through slide holes 15, 16 formed in the shield members 4, 5, respectively. When the first shield member 4 and the second shield member 5 are slid to the highest position, both the shield members 4, 5 are overlapped and disposed on the front side of the storing guide member 3 and stored in the hat body 2. Meanwhile, when the first shield member 4 and the second shield member 5 are slid to the lowest position, both the shield members 4, 5 cover the upper and lower portions of the face to protect the whole face. |
