PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorochemical benzotriazole compound that requires a low cost, has few environmental effects, is capable of forming a compact film or layer when used in an extremely small amount and greatly improves durability of a protective layer, and a composition comprising the same.SOLUTION: The compound is represented by the formula wherein Ris CF-(CH)- (wherein n is 1 to 22; and m is 0 or an integer from 1 to 3); X is -CO- or the like; Y is -CH- or the like; z is 0 or 1; and Ris H, lower alkyl or R-X-Y- with the provisos that when X is -S- or -O-, m is 0 and z is 0, n is ≥7. The composition comprises the same. |
