PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a movement detection device excelling especially in detection accuracy and impact resistance properties, compared to those of conventional types.SOLUTION: The movement detection device includes a moving part 12b; a magnet 30 which moves with the moving part 12b together; a magnetic detector 16 placed on a fixed part to detect a leakage magnetic field from the magnet 30; a sliding holder 20 which slides on a guide surface 14 provided in the fixed part, while holding the magnet 30; and a coupling member 40, located between the moving part 12b and the sliding holder 20 and equipped with holding parts 52 and 53 for pressing the sliding holder 20 in the direction of the guide surface 14, and holding the sliding holder 20 from both side surfaces 20a and 20b facing in sliding directions (directions Y1-Y2). Consequently, superior detection accuracy and impact resistance properties can be obtained. |
